A Woman’s Work was my baby. I finally had the courage to share it with the world last June. I no longer wanted to hide my writing. As I was writing yesterday. I realized that we will have to break up soon.
There is a time and season for everything. A Woman’s Work will serve its purpose. Then my writing will take on a different focus. I am currently working on two books. I may take a break from the blog and leave you with a season cliff hanger. Or I may only post a blog three times a week. I’m still undecided and will continue to pray about the decision.
At some point very soon, I will share chapter one of my memoir. It will take you back to Brooke Butler, the little girl with pigtails. And the story continues…….
I have always wanted to write a children’s book. Hopefully one day that will happen. I am not an artist. So I will need an illustrator to bring the story to life. I also want to publish my memoir, an embracing autism guide and a novel.
I know there is a risk that I will lose some of my readers if I don’t post daily. I am not going anywhere yet. I will let you know if and when that change is going to happen.
My writing saved my life in ways you can’t even imagine. All it takes is a blank page in a journal, my favorite pen and playlist to create my masterpiece.
