Everyone has a passion, a hobby or a special interest. Often times we have to put our dreams on hold. Between work and family and all of that in between. How do you follow your passion and do more of what you love?
For me blogging and writing are my passions. But I know that there is something else that I am supposed to do with my life. One of the hardest things to do is to obedient and listen to what God wants you to do. I know that I am supposed to share our lives living with autism with the world. It is not for me to become famous. I wish that I had someone who told me the “real deal” about autism and what I was going to experience. But all I received was the sugar-coated version.
Being an advocate for children with autism and children with special needs is a high priority for me. Sharing videos of Sydney is just one example of autism. Other families may be able to relate but have different experiences. But it will hopefully help others try to comprehend what we experience on a daily basis. Empathy is one thing that needs to be taught at an early age. I pray that God continues to give me the message that people need to hear.
There are things that God has been tugging at my heart to accomplish and I have been disobedient. Then I wonder why there is chaos at times in my life. Each day is a gift so treat it as such. Make time for you to focus on your passion. Take a leap of faith and do more of what you love.
