Soulful Sunday

Thinking back to the first day when I posted my first blog, I knew that I had to share my journey with the world. I am glad that I followed my heart and the advice of friends to write on a variety of topics. This past week I prayed about which direction I wanted to go next with my blog. Most of my blogs are already written and ready to go.  But then there are days when I am lead to write something different and I do just that.

Everything that I am and have today, is because of the grace and mercy of God. I’ve decided that every Sunday, A Woman’s Work will feature a scripture along with some Brooke Motivation for the week. Here goes…

I loved you at your darkest.  Romans 5:8

This scripture speaks volume to my soul.  When you feel like no one loves you.  Know that God always loves you. The fact that God loves you even when you are at your worst, should make you feel blessed, special and awesome.

Take a moment and think back to one of the darkest parts of your life.  Maybe you are in that dark place now.  How do you think you were able to heal and survive?  It was because of God’s grace and mercy.

You are always loved regardless of your relationship status. But remember you must first love yourself before others can love you.  Today I want you to forget the past, step out of the darkness and get ready to receive the blessings that God has for you and only you. Sally Sue’s blessings are not your blessings, so wait on your own!!!!!
