Don’t worry about everything, instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done. Philippians 4 :6-8
How many hours of the day do you spend worrying about something? I am better at not worrying about everything. I admit I worried about how people perceived me. I worried if we would be accepted in our new neighborhood. I worried about autism. But I never worried about giving up or throwing in the towel.
Being a single mom and raising a child with special needs adds more to my “worry list”. But this scripture gives me the comfort in knowing when that worry spirit or feeling takes over. That is when I need to pray.
We all need reminders to be thankful. No matter what your circumstances are, make your request know to God. Just remember to thank Him for all things. I mean from the smallest things to your biggest victories.
I worry everyday that I send Sydney to school. I had to finally give it all to God and ask him to give me peace and be with Sydney. I would worry that I can’t give Harrison the direction he needs at time that a father could.
What are you believing God for? If you need a new job, help with a relationship, peace, healing in your life or your own personal intention. You don’t have to worry about it anymore and tell everyone. Just share your vision with God and thank Him for your victory. When you receive what you prayed for, be sure to share your testimony with me.
Worry less and pray more!
