Follow Your Journey

We all have our destiny and purpose in life.  Some of us know our destiny from an early age.  Some of us are still trying to figure out our purpose and which road to travel.

For me I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. I am grateful for 21 years of being an educator.  My teaching journey has allowed me to cross paths with some of the most amazing people.  As much as I love teaching I hid my other passion.   That passion was my love of writing.  Now I have realized that my journey gave me the courage to be a life coach and motivational speaker. I am still trying to figure out how to make that happen.

On my journey I was burdened with many trials, success, heartache and victories.  There  were many circumstances where I felt lost, trapped and needed to escape. But escaping wouldn’t solve my problems.  Escaping would give me momentary relief. But the problems would still be there.   I had to trust and have faith on the path that I was going to travel.

If you are facing a difficult situation in your life right now.  I want you to take the time to stop, stand still and breathe.  You need to focus your energy on the positive and walk away from the negative.  The negative may feel comfortable to you, some of  your friends might be there with you.  You might feel that this is where you belong.  But in reality, that is not the journey that has been planned for you.

It takes courage and resilience to begin a new journey. When you feel like you are stuck and can’t move that is when you need to set your plan in motion.  Others may not understand your journey but it is not their journey to understand.

Your path is waiting for you. Don’t hesitate.  Always believe that greatness is waiting for you at the end of your journey.
