Have you ever tasted a bad apple? I have and it left a bad taste in my mouth. But, the crunch and taste of a honey crisp apple is my favorite. One bad apple does spoil the whole bunch in my opinion.
Let’s make a connection to our lives. If we never tasted a bad apple. We would never appreciate the delicious taste of a good apple.
What I’m really trying to say is easy. If you have never gone through the valleys, and the darkest points of your life. You will never appreciate the little things in life. The joys of having a prayer answered. Using your faith to move mountains that were in your way.
There are times that we will have to experience things that are bitter, and hurtful. Those experiences are actually working in our favor. They will prepare us for the beauty and blessings that await us.
Did I like all of the bad apples in my life? Not at all. I appreciate and understand the circle of life better now. I appreciate the little things because bad apples consumed my life at one time.
What bad apples are in your life? People, situations, fear, negativity, or bitterness. These things didn’t bring you joy. When your season turns in your favor. Your soul will be thankful and your heart filled with joy and hope for a better life.
