Have you ever had one of those days? The kind of day were everything that could go wrong goes wrong. It might be traffic, an argument, or another disappointment. Nevertheless, the day leaves you feeling defeated, discouraged and frustrated.
Here’s a newsflash for you. Those days will happen. The question is how will you respond? Will you let that conversation or insult consume your entire day, week or month? Will you pray about it and move on? Or will you hold a grudge and plot your revenge?
I am not here to judge you on the choice that you make. I will tell you that giving someone or something that much power over you is not how you want to live. Revenge is sweet I know. But karma is a bitch. I vote for karma to handle the situation and leave me out of it.
Recently, I had one of those days. I felt like I was in a dream or on an episode of The Twilight Zone. My life isn’t bad. But the day I had really was one that I wish I could forget. I admit that I did have to play out the scenario in my head a few times. Before I could exhale and let it go.
Once I did. My vision was clearer and my anger was gone. Now I could move on with the determination to make the days ahead brighter. And that is exactly what I did.
Remember it was a bad day. That doesn’t dictate a bad life.
