I don’t know much about chess, I just want to yell checkmate with authority and rise from the table as the victor.

I want to be in charge. I want to capture something that is threatening me and I win the game for a chance. I’ve taken the L too many times for the team.

I’ve never been so serious about being prepared to make the next move in my life a reality. For too long I’ve let negativity, the opinion and comments of other people cloud me and throw me off of my game. I couldn’t see the game that was being played in front of me. I was blindsided.

Now I have a new strategy and courage to face the unknown and the what if’s. I doubted myself last week so much about a situation with Sydney. Then today I felt a sense of peace come over my body because I knew I was moving in the right direction.
