I didn’t realize the date was October 16th until my bestie from Michigan called to remind me. October 16th was the day of love, my wedding date back in 1999.
For a good laugh I tried on my wedding dress last night and Syd literally hollered and her echolalia was on point!! “This is a disaster! This is a disaster!” Syd I completely agree with you.
I can’t mourn today. I thank God for this date twenty years ago. It was my union that produced two miracles that have loved me and brought me so much joy and made me the woman I am today.
My happily ever after didn’t end as I would have hoped, but my story isn’t over and some of the best chapters of my life are in the making!
My past taught me some hard lessons that no one prepared me for, but I survived and you can too!!!
